Job Description
- Strong strategic sourcing individual with extensive experience in dealing with procurement activities. Further, the experience and skillsets required are those familiar with vendor management, supplier development, contracts management, excellent negotiation capabilities etc. The successful candidates must be willing to be located at our subsidiary Company in Indonesia.
- Coordinate, control and lead respective material category and supplier assigned, in order to achieve best commercial terms and profit benefit from the purchasing volume.
- Creation of transparency in suppliers' purchasing volumes, overall cost, development and ramp up plan, contract management and analysis of future demands.
- Active involvement in supplier management which include selection, evaluation, price / contractual negotiation, award / signing of contract and handling of any other critical / commercial issues.
- Identify and conduct risk assessment on supplier's business performance, which include but not limited to insolvency risks, market and country risks, as preventive measure to potential risks to business such as damages, delivery failures etc.
- Initiate and lead improvement projects on process, system (SAP or other tools) and planning related topics, besides those related to purchasing strategies.
- As Head of Group Strategic Purchasing, you are expected to initiate, develop, coordinate and implement innovative purchasing strategies for adoption at all subsidiaries of Ingress to promote the cost reduction initiative and maximize overall value of purchases.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree with strong hands-on experience in Procurement or Vendor Management. Candidate with a Master's degree is preferred.
- Possess relevant past experience in leading improvement projects within Purchasing functions (process, system, planning & cost related topics).
- Possess relevant knowledge and experience in legal and commercial terms in contracts or agreements will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills - preferably intermediate or advance level in Microsoft Excel, able to present / propose outcome of analysis, based on facts & figures.
- Strong communication & negotiation skills, able to speak confidently with people from different levels of company hierarchy both internally (within company & intercompany) and externally (with suppliers).
- Demonstrate integrity, objectivity, positive values and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Maintaining confidentiality of information at all time.
- Preferably with SAP experience.
