Job Description

  • Provide monthly and quarterly management report of the company and submit the approved report to Group Finance & Accounts and annual statutory audit.
  • Ensure the accounting records of the company are well maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and approved accounting standards and also the group policies of the holding company.
  • Prepare the company annual budget, long term projection and get the approval and submit to Group Finance & Accounts.
  • Ensure the tax return of the company is submitted on time and review the tax submission to ensure the company optimised the tax position.
  • Ensure the treasury matters is well monitor and managed.
  • Prepare product costing and project feasibility studies when required.
  • Assist in securing financing for the company when required.
  • Ensure the existing policies and procedures pertaining to financial controls are being adhered to and to review its effectiveness.
  • To liaise with auditors, tax agent, inland revenue board, and any other local authorities on any matter concerning the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with/or Professional Qualification of CPA (ACCA/MICPA/CIMA).                                                     
  • Well verse in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and GAAP  
  • At least 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position.              
  • Exposure to corporate business and manufacturing operation.      
  • Candidate must have excellent business acumen, analytical and leadership skills.      
  • Candidate is able to work under pressure and multi-tasking in the fast pace environment.
  • Candidate must posses’ high integrity with strong sense of urgency and result oriented.       
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
  • Agreed to be post at overseas subsidiaries.
